Lookup
Lookup is a publicly available interactive searching program Jeffrey
wrote primarily to allow him to access edict and kanjidic quickly and
concisely, though it should be quite useful for searching any line-based text
file (it's been used to quickly search huge C programs, English word-lists,
and even e-mail archives).
It features a rich and powerful flavor
of regular expression search with support for Japanese text. If you would like
to learn more about regular expressions, the powerful tool used to help you
in your dictionary queries, see
Mastering Regular Expressions and its successor,
Mastering Regular Expressions Second Edition.
